It seems that after we post a bleeding edge app, the developers decide to release it for everybody. Today we had Gloobus Preview and now the amazing Elementary GNOME theme was updated in the Elementary Art PPA.
You no longer need to use our script to install the latest Elementary Theme as version 1.2.1 has finally been released and is available in the Elementary Art PPA, unfortunately for Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx only.
Since we posted about the Elementary Theme there haven't been many changes except lots of bug fixes and improved light scrollbars.
To add the Elementary Art PPA in Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx, simply paste this in a terminal:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:elementaryart/ppa && sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install elementary-theme gtk2-engines-equinox
If you want the new icons too, you'll still have to use our script to get the latest Elementary icons and theme from BZR.
Update: WebUpd8 reader Saurabhneo (thanks!) sent us a great theme for Avant Window Navigator to match the Elementary GTK theme. You can download it from HERE.
The theme works great with the new AWN Lucido as you can see in the screenshot but to make it fit perfectly, you may also want to use the Lucida MAC font.
