Install Nautilus Elementary In Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick Meerkat

Nautilus Elementary has a PPA, but the Maverick package in the PPA is old and can only be installed by forcing the version for now, so if you want the latest Nautilus Elementaty in Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick Meerkat, you'll have to do it manually.

The Nautilus Elementary PPA has been updated so you can now easily install Nautilus Elementary in Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick Meerkat using the following commands:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:am-monkeyd/nautilus-elementary-ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

Then simply restart Nautilus:

nautilus -q

Then go to Edit > Preferences and you should have a new "Tweaks" tab. You can also right click the toolbar and enable/disable items or select "Customize toolbar" to customize everything. In the "View" menu you should also see some new items such as ClutterDlow or Embedded Terminal.
