A quick update: Activity Log Manager, the application that lets you delete your Zeitgeist history or blacklist applications from being tracked by Zeitgeist is now available in the Zeitgeist PPA.
To add the PPA and upgrade to Zeitgeist 0.8, then install Activity Log Manager in Ubuntu 10.04, 10.10, 11.04 and 11.10, run the commands below:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:zeitgeist/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
zeitgeist-daemon --replace
sudo apt-get install activity-log-manager
For Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric Ocelot, you can skip the "sudo apt-get upgrade" and "zeitgeist-daemon --replace" commands because Oneiric already has the latest Zeitgeist version.
We've already covered Activity Log Manager so check out our previous post for more info.
Update: the bug that caused clearing the Zeitgeist history not to work has been fixed and the PPA has been updated.
