Unity 4.10.2 was uploaded to the Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric Ocelot repositories last night, bringing lots of changes. The most important change is that window controls are now hidden for maximized windows and are displayed on mouse over.
Other changes:
- more polish for Dash which finally looks like in Mark Shuttleworth's screenshot.
- Dash got its own window controls which can be used to close, maximize or restore it
- the ALT + TAB switcher got window previews for minimized windows (press the down arrow to see the previews). But some applications will be blacklisted - explains Sam Spilsbury on his blog.
- new Dash icon
Further more, in an update yesterday, the GTK3 interface was finally made default for Ubuntu Software Center (which also got a new icon).
