As Fedora 16 will be available soon (November, 8), Satya has released Fedora Utils 1.7 which comes with Fedora 16 support.
Fedora Utils is now easier to use: based on the feedback in our "Easily Install Extra Applications In Fedora Using Autoplus Or Fedora Utils" post, the script is now available as a RPM package too and you can run it either from the menu or by just double clicking the script and selecting "Run in Terminal".
Also, the software packs installation has been removed because it was confusing as there was no info on what packages each pack installs. Instead of this feature, some packages that aren't available in the repositories can be installed via "Install additional Software".

Other changes include: auto update, system status of installations / tweaks, command line arguments for the script, option to install Media Player extension, fix Weather Extension dependency and other fixes.
